Jira is a powerful tool for managing workflows, but one long-standing challenge has frustrated Jira administrators and teams: the unpredictable execution order of post functions in Jira Cloud. Since post functions execute asynchronously, actions don’t always occur in the expected order, leading to Data inconsistencies when updates happen before required conditions are met, Notifications triggering too soon, before all relevant information is available and Automation rules conflicting, causing unintended workflow behavior.
