Atlas Camp 2025 – Insights, Innovations, and Community

Atlas Camp 2025 was an inspiring event that we, the Decadis team, truly enjoyed. The location was great, even though the rooms were a bit small. But this actually made the sessions more intense, as everyone was brought a little closer together.

From new announcements to deep-dive technical sessions and valuable networking opportunities, here's a recap of our key takeaways from Atlas Camp 2025.

Exciting Announcements in the Keynote

The event kicked off with a keynote full of major updates about the Atlassian ecosystem and the direction we’re all heading in.

One major topic was the System of Work, which had been mentioned multiple times beforehand. The key takeaway? Much more information is now being gathered inside and outside Atlassian apps, creating a complete overview of your business.

This includes tasks, goals, designs, pull requests, and various other types of data. The automotive industry was used as an example, demonstrating the seamless integration of CAD designs into Atlassian workflows—an impressive innovation.

Another key focus was Atlassian’s commitment to their cloud ecosystem. Should we start calling it "Forge first"? Maybe! With making Forge capabilities accessible to everybody and every app”, it’s clear where the future is headed.

Deep-Dive Sessions: The Future of Atlassian Apps

Following the keynote, we attended some fantastic sessions that provided valuable insights into Atlassian’s roadmap and upcoming technologies.

Some of the standout sessions included:

  • "A deep dive into the System of Work, the Teamwork Graph and what it means for the future of apps"
  • "Multi-Faceted Forge Hosted Storage"
  • “Preparing for Connect end of support: how to create a successful transition plan”
  • “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger: Forge Compute“

Each of these sessions gave us a glimpse into the future of the Atlassian ecosystem, offering deep technical insights and strategies for building better apps.

Game Development meets Atlassian: CD PROJEKT RED’s Insights

A particularly exciting moment was hearing from CD PROJEKT RED, the award-winning Polish game development studio behind iconic story-driven RPGs.

Their session was called “Building apps that empower customer success" and they shared how they use Atlassian products to synchronize teams across different development processes, ensuring smooth collaboration between departments.
It was fascinating to see how a game development company leverages Atlassian tools in an industry where transparency is often a challenge.

ACE Meeting: Strengthening the Atlassian Community

On the second evening, some of us attended the local ACE Meeting, which was conveniently held at the same venue as Atlas Camp.

This was a fantastic opportunity to connect with other Marketplace partners, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships within the Atlassian community. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was great to engage in conversations about shared challenges, opportunities, and best practices.

Key Takeaways from the Decadis Team

Beyond the great sessions and networking, our team shared some personal insights and impressions from the event:

"Great to see other partners again and realize they’re facing the same challenges as we are."
"Amazing to reconnect with colleagues in person!"
"The sessions gave some great insights into what Atlassian is working on, and it was incredibly helpful to ask in-depth questions about special edge cases."

One colleague summed it up perfectly:

"I really liked Atlas Camp. It was a great event, and I learned a lot about Atlassian’s future plans and direction. It helped me understand what new technologies are coming and what we should focus on to improve our apps. The event gave me so many ideas on how to enhance our work and stay aligned with Atlassian’s vision. Overall, it was incredibly helpful and inspiring."

This year’s Atlas Camp once again proved that the Atlassian Marketplace community is full of brilliant minds. We’re proud to be part of such an innovative and collaborative ecosystem!

Some standout talks from Marketplace partners included:

Michel Kuhl (Appfire): Product-Led Growth (PLG)
Shu Shen (Opus Guard): Scaling Forge for High Data Volumes

We also had great direct exchanges with the Atlassian team, which boosted our confidence in our transition to Forge. Having access to Atlassian engineers and seeing production bugs fixed quickly was incredibly valuable.

And finally, there was plenty of well-deserved praise for Atlassian as a vendor. Their openness to feedback and focus on improvement were clear throughout the event:

"Great talks, great people. Atlassian actively asking for feedback."

With "a good number of sessions featuring real code samples," the content definitely met developer expectations.

Final Thoughts: A Fantastic Experience!

For us, Atlas Camp 2025 was an incredible experience, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to meet so many talented, helpful, and inspiring people.

We’re already looking forward to attending future events and reconnecting with everyone again!
